Float Financial Service Representative
Job Description
Evergreen Credit Union seeks a Float Financial Service Representative based out of its Scarborough branch. This role travels between branches to provide operational coverage, support day-to-day member service, and ensure consistent execution of credit union procedures and standards.
Role Overview
The Float Financial Service Representative will help maintain branch coverage by traveling to all locations as needed. Responsibilities include opening and maintaining member accounts, processing transactions, supporting loan application activity, and providing consultative conversations that align credit union products and services with member needs. The position also focuses on accurate recordkeeping and adherence to applicable regulatory and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to all branches to support coverage and provide operational assistance.
- Provide consistent member service by covering multiple branch locations.
- Build and maintain member relationships through account openings, processing account maintenance requests, and assisting with loan applications.
- Conduct consultative member conversations to identify financial needs and recommend appropriate credit union products and services.
- Process member transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high service standard.
- Maintain accurate member records, documentation, and system updates in accordance with credit union procedures.
- Verify member identity, signatures, endorsements, and transaction documentation to help minimize fraud risk and protect member assets.
- Resolve routine member concerns independently and escalate complex matters with thoughtful recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including BSA, AML, CIP, Fair Lending, HMDA, and MLA.
- Serve as a resource regarding credit union products, services, digital banking solutions, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with branch teams and departments to support organizational goals and deliver a seamless member experience.
- Perform additional duties and special assignments as required.
Required Qualifications
- One to three years of customer service or service experience.
- Previous experience in a financial institution with knowledge of products and services is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a high degree of discretion and diplomacy.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED.

- Starting Pay Range: USD 25.00 to 29.00 per hour
- Base Pay: USD 25.00 to 29.00 per hour
