Global Finance Manager - Strategic Analysis

Capital Group Companies is seeking a Global Finance Manager for Strategic Analysis to lead enterprise-level global strategic finance initiatives and translate complex business questions into actionable financial insight. Based in London, OH, this onsite role supports senior decision-makers through rigorous global financial analysis and modeling, while partnering across Global Finance and key teams throughout Capital Group.

In this position, you will collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across multiple functional areas and geographies, develop early-career associates into future Global Finance managers, and communicate analysis clearly to cross-functional executives. Your work will span sophisticated modeling, strategic frameworks, and executive-ready summaries that help shape high-impact outcomes.

What you’ll do

• Lead high-impact projects by delivering insightful financial analysis, strategic direction, and sophisticated financial models to address complex business challenges.
• Drive enterprise-level Global Strategic Finance projects with global scope.
• Collaborate across Capital Group’s three functional areas: Client Group, Investment Group, and Operating Group.
• Build and maintain close working relationships across Global Finance across the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, Geneva, and San Antonio, and across Treasury, Hub, Divisional Finance, Accounting, and other teams.
• Partner with select teams, including the Global Compensation group on long-term compensation analytics and design, and the Global Product team on product pipeline, seed investment portfolio, and business cases (project-based).
• Champion the development of early-career associates and support their growth toward the next generation of Global Finance managers.
• Understand business issues and translate them into analysis that drives high-impact decisions.
• Operate independently and proactively, including scoping work, creating project plans, iterating with stakeholders, and delivering high-quality outputs.
• Apply a strategic mindset to build frameworks and approaches that simplify and solve complex issues.
• Share and discuss findings with a cross-functional executive audience, including development of executive-level summaries and discussion documents.
• Develop and mentor junior associates.
• Quickly learn new topics to produce impactful analysis.
• Use advanced Excel to build complex financial models, analyze options and their economic impact, and weigh pros and cons.
• Synthesize complex analysis into executive-ready materials, leveraging advanced data visualization skills.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment by successfully leading multiple projects across multiple business areas at the same time.
