Junior Revenue Based Finance/MCA Underwriter

RELIANCE FINANCIAL is hiring a Junior Revenue Based Finance/MCA Underwriter in Hollywood, FL for an in-person role. In this position, you will review applications for working capital funding, assess creditworthiness, and support underwriting decisions that help relationship managers move deals forward.

Working alongside internal teams, you will handle underwriting analysis across a range of applicant materials, contribute to credit and underwriting policy development, and communicate decisions clearly to the parties responsible for next steps.

Key Responsibilities

• Review application data including financial statements, bank statements, credit card statements, AR aging reports, and data from business/personal credit and due diligence platforms.
• Collaborate with management to develop and maintain credit policy and underwriting policy and procedures.
• Maintain working relationships with Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs) and other lead generation sources.
• Conduct accurate underwriting analysis for applicant files, including more complex cases, and transmit underwriting decisions to relationship managers orally and in writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• 0 to 2 years of experience underwriting merchant cash advance, revenue based financing, or other commercial finance underwriting.
• Aptitude for problem-solving, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data interpretation (familiarity with Adobe and CRM platforms is a plus).

• Ability to multitask at a high level while managing multiple deadlines.
