Manager, Finance

Based in Irving, TX, onsite, GXO Logistics seeks a Finance Manager to support multiple locations and customers, including Fortune 500 companies, and to drive financial reporting and forecasting as part of the leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Act as the multi-site finance leader for a new operation, ensuring financial oversight across locations.
• Represent finance in meetings with operations and the customer to stay informed of upcoming business changes.
• Incorporate relevant data into the forecast to improve accuracy.
• collaborate with operations and the customer to achieve financial targets and drive successful execution.
• Assess the financial impact of potential projects to inform decision making.
• Maintain and distribute internal and customer-facing reports to ensure clarity and timeliness.
• Address customer and operations inquiries and requests for financial data promptly.
• Design, prepare and maintain forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses for both customer-facing and internal use on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Ensure customer invoices are prepared and delivered accurately and on time.
• Create invoice templates, queries, and manual processes for data collection and invoicing efficiency.
• Set up internal tracking mechanisms such as project codes and work centers to support billing and cost accounting.
• Support the facility's operational success through proactive financial management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent related work or military experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and/or budgeting
• Solid working knowledge of Oracle Projects, Snowflake, PowerBI, and EPBCS
• Experience evaluating systems of internal control
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytic software, with the ability to collect data from databases, model it, and extract actionable insights
