Manager, IT Finance

The Manager, IT Finance provides expert financial leadership for the IT organization, overseeing planning and control activities and delivering analysis that supports senior IT decision-making. This onsite role in Tallahassee, FL focuses on budgeting, financial services development, reporting, and governance for IT financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and development of financial services that support IT planning and control.
• Analyze and prepare IT budgets, and develop financial proposals with supporting documentation and justification.
• Perform in-depth reviews of IT financial conditions, including compliance matters and effectiveness of IT strategy.
• Provide financial statements and monthly budget reports to IT leadership.
• Audit and approve invoices for contract payments.
• Develop financial metrics and conduct audits to ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies.
• Drive consistent accounting practices, including reconciliations and standardized reporting.
• May develop pricing models and chargeback schemes for IT services.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 6 years of financial management experience, including managing teams responsible for financial analysis and planning.
• Experience in cost analysis, market capitalization, P&E ratios, and financial statements.
• Demonstrated middle-level management experience, including mentoring supervisors, project leads, and professional staff.
• Experience supporting complex IT financial activities at an enterprise-wide level or within a business unit.
• Ability to operate under general direction of senior management, with frequent reporting to executive leadership.
