Mgr Financial Planning

Mgr Financial Planning role based onsite in Atlanta, GA, focused on maintaining budgeting systems, performing variance analysis, and aligning forecasts with strategic objectives across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and maintains the financial planning and budgeting platforms, including annual and quarterly setups, gathering monthly metrics, and developing and sustaining reports.
• Performs ongoing variance analysis to ensure forecasts reflect the organization’s strategic goals.
• Collaborates with the Financial Planning & Analysis team, corporate functions, and operating entities to educate users and provide support.
• Owns the upkeep and administration of the financial forecasting and budgeting systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field (Required).
• Five years of progressive finance experience, preferably in a multi-entity healthcare provider environment (Required).

Overview

• Oversees the management and upkeep of financial planning and budgeting systems, including annual and quarterly setup, collection and posting of monthly statistics, and report development and maintenance.
• Performs ongoing variance analysis to ensure alignment between the organization’s strategic goals and financial forecasts.
• Partners with FP&A, corporate functions, and entities to educate and assist system users.
• Maintains responsibility for the financial forecasting and budgeting systems.
