Job Description
Nutrafol is seeking a D365 Finance & Operations Product Owner to guide day-to-day business-as-usual operations for its Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O ERP platform following Phase 1 go-live. This role serves as the primary subject matter expert, owning product strategy and roadmap planning for Phase 2 and beyond, while supporting compliance, adoption, and continuous improvement across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead BAU operations for D365 Finance & Operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution.
- Act as the primary D365 SME for business-as-usual, partnering with the D365 system administrator to maintain performance, stability, triage and resolution of issues, and business continuity after Phase 1 stabilization.
- Own the D365 product strategy and roadmap, defining and maintaining the product roadmap for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and integrated third-party solutions.
- Ensure roadmap alignment with Nutrafol operational and financial objectives and with Unilever’s broader platform strategy.
- Plan and lead future implementation phases, including Phase 2 and beyond, by scoping, prioritizing, and rolling out additional D365 modules and functionality across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams (including Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance) and configuring D365 to meet or exceed business needs.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying, prioritizing, and delivering features and enhancements that optimize the D365 environment and related business processes.
- Collaborate with Wellbeing Collective D365 teams, including shared communities of practice with peer product owners.
- Ensure ongoing compliance of Nutrafol’s D365 instance with AFCF and ICF control frameworks, supporting internal and external audit expectations, including opportunities to automate controls using D365 customizations.
- Serve as the go-to D365 expert for Finance and SC/Ops functions, providing guidance and support through design, enhancements, change management, and adoption.
- Oversee change management by developing and delivering communications, training, and documentation for new features and upcoming phases to support organization-wide adoption.
- Manage vendor relationships with third-party delivery partners and support teams, including weekly support ticket reviews for BAU and defining the Evolve budget of CRs with the business, in collaboration with development teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Technical Product role with strong understanding of end-to-end business operational and financial processes, ideally in CPG, Manufacturing, Wholesale, or Retail; DTC and eCommerce experience is a plus.
- 4+ years of hands-on D365 implementation experience, with a proven track record configuring, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, particularly across Supply Chain/Operations and Finance.
- Experience supporting a D365 environment in BAU, including stabilization, ongoing support operations, partnering with system administrators, and leading post-go-live optimization and multi-phase rollouts.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce and direct-to-consumer models alongside more traditional CPG sales functions.
- Highly collaborative stakeholder management skills and strong ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, including global teams and parent-company partners.
- Ability to articulate a strategic vision, define a product roadmap for the D365 platform, weigh competing priorities, and make data-driven decisions aligned with broader organizational goals.
- Experience leading at least one successful ERP migration project, preferably from QuickBooks to D365.
