Based in Columbus, OH on site, this Area Product Owner role for Reconciliation and Financial Exceptions Platforms at JPMorganChase leads two internal systems within Consumer & Community Banking Operations, shaping vision, roadmap, and automation-driven efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Guide the area product roadmap and strategic vision, prioritize work, oversee development and delivery, manage risks, and drive growth targets.
- Partner with the area product quad leadership team (Product, Technology, Design, Data) to plan, manage, and deliver the Area Product Roadmap.
- Own the full product life cycle from planning to execution and ongoing development, continuously adapting and introducing new approaches while managing costs, features, reusability, and reliability to enable growth.
- Coach the product team on market research, storyboarding, workshop facilitation, prototyping methods, business case development, requirements elicitation, and delivery to meet objectives.
- Own product performance and invest in enhancements to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, perform competitive analysis, and identify opportunities to differentiate the product.
- Drive adoption of lifecycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- Lead organizational change and manage stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Oversee large scale platform migrations, retire legacy applications, and deliver measurable automation-driven efficiencies.
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset with data-driven results to identify root causes, prioritize high-impact improvements, and implement iterative enhancements that improve reliability, efficiency, and user outcomes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience delivering products, programs, or technology applications.
- Strong knowledge of the agile product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to drive adoption of lifecycle activities such as discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- Experience leading organizational change and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Experience guiding large-scale platform migrations, retiring legacy applications, and delivering automation-driven efficiencies.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement with data-driven results to identify root causes and deliver iterative enhancements that boost reliability, efficiency, and user outcomes.
