Job Description
Support finance and accounting reporting for a financial services organization, combining close and audit support with data analysis and reporting process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal and external financial reporting, including recurring reporting packages and ad hoc analysis
- Assist with close activities, variance analysis, and quarter-end and year-end reporting
- Provide audit support through documentation and reporting deliverables
- Reconcile and explain complex data sets spanning multiple sources
- Build and enhance reports, dashboards, and data outputs using Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
- Spot opportunities to improve data quality, strengthen controls, automate manual work, and streamline reporting processes
- Contribute to initiatives related to reporting, systems, data governance, and finance process improvement
- Partner with teams across finance, accounting, audit, and technology to support reporting needs
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, SEC or regulatory reporting, or a related field
- Financial services experience required, either in industry or through audit client work
- Strong working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting fundamentals
- Experience handling complex data and investigating or explaining discrepancies
- Proficiency with Excel plus exposure to SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or comparable reporting tools
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Compensation
- $125,000–$150,000 base salary
- Discretionary bonus

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with public company, SEC, regulatory, or management reporting
- CPA or progress toward CPA
- Experience with NetSuite, dashboard development, automation, or finance transformation
- Public accounting experience, including candidates interested in moving into their first in-house role
