Job Description
Evergreens, Inc. is seeking a VP of Finance & Administration to act as the CEO’s strategic finance partner and lead both core finance and key administrative functions in support of long-term growth and franchise expansion.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the CEO’s primary strategic finance partner.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
- Own and continuously refine Evergreens’ five-year financial model.
- Build sophisticated financial models for restaurant development, franchise expansion, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and support liquidity planning.
- Analyze business performance and identify opportunities to improve sales, margins, profitability, and return on investment.
- Develop executive dashboards and KPIs to support decision-making across the organization.
- Evaluate pricing strategies, labor productivity, restaurant performance, and new business opportunities.
- Act as the primary liaison with outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and tax partners.
- Review monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and operating results for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate annual audits and tax filings.
- Oversee treasury management, banking relationships, and cash management.
- Strengthen financial controls, reporting processes, and financial discipline across the organization.
- Prepare Board of Directors financial reporting packages and executive presentation materials.
- Manage Board administrative duties including minutes, resolutions, and related consents and documentation.
- Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board.
- Support financing activities, banking relationships, and future capital raising initiatives as needed.
- Partner with Operations, Marketing, HR, and Development to support strategic initiatives and improve business performance.
- Build the financial capabilities required to support future franchise growth.
- Oversee the Company’s Payroll & Benefits Administrator.
- Manage corporate insurance programs and annual renewals.
- Support franchising by ensuring timely FDD updates and filings, plus other regulatory or reporting requirements.
- Ensure business licenses, permits, and corporate registrations remain current.
- Build and maintain an organized contract and document management repository.
- Improve administrative systems and processes that support a growing organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- Experience in multi-unit retail, restaurant, hospitality, franchise, or consumer-facing businesses.
- Strong FP&A experience.
- Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills.
- Experience developing annual budgets, long-range plans, and cash flow forecasts.
- Strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting.
- Experience presenting financial information to executive leadership and Boards of Directors.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Multi-unit retail accounting experience: 3 years (Required).
Preferred
- CPA and/or MBA.
- Restaurant experience.
- Franchise experience.
- Experience with private equity-backed or growth-oriented companies.
- Experience partnering with outsourced accounting firms.
- Experience implementing financial systems, dashboards, and process improvements.

Compensation
- USD 160,000 - 175,000 per year
