Responsibilities
- Originate agricultural and commercial loans and oversee an assigned portfolio with emphasis on growth, product mix, margin, credit quality, and fee income
- Drive new loan volume through proactive outreach and deepening existing client relationships
- Deliver outstanding service to all clients, new and existing
- Monitor delinquent loans and work toward maintaining a high‑quality loan portfolio
- Establish new deposit relationships and expand current ones
- Negotiate loan rates and terms within established guidelines
- Represent Border Bank in local community and civic organizations
Requirements
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
- Passion for business development and community involvement
- Solid credit analysis skills
- 5+ years of banking experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
