Job Description

Lead the dealership’s automotive financing operations, strengthen compliant loan processing, and help customers understand their options clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the automotive financing department, overseeing loan processing, credit analysis, and transaction structuring to support profitability.
  • Provide transparent guidance to customers on available financing options, supporting a positive customer experience.
  • Upsell appropriate insurance products when relevant, while maintaining clear communication with customers.
  • Manage the end-to-end loan approval process, including TILA (Truth in Lending Act) compliance, title processing, and contract management.
  • Partner with sales teams to support smooth deal negotiations, balancing customer satisfaction with adherence to automotive sales industry regulations.
  • Use industry-standard financial software such as Reynolds to process loans efficiently and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements tied to loans, including credit analysis standards and legal documentation procedures.
  • Deliver ongoing staff training focused on loan regulations, industry compliance, and customer service best practices to maintain dealership standards.
  • Track industry trends and regulatory changes affecting automotive financing and adjust dealership policies proactively.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive finance management or experience as a loan officer in a dealership or financial services environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of automotive sales industry regulations, including TILA, title processing, and financial compliance standards.
  • Ability to support deal negotiation, structure complex transactions, and upsell insurance products appropriately.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills, with an emphasis on communication and service excellence.
  • Proficiency with financial software such as CDK or equivalent dealership management systems.
  • Basic math skills with 10-key typing proficiency for accurate data entry and calculations.
  • Familiarity with credit analysis procedures, loan processing workflows, and legal contract documentation.
  • Automotive financing regulatory knowledge and dealership experience are highly preferred.

Salary: USD 80,000 - 250,000 per yearly
