Job Description
On-site in Toccoa, GA, this Director of Finance Transformation and Data role offers USD 100,000 annually.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a finance data strategy that supports growth, regulatory requirements, and capital markets objectives
- Establish and sustain data governance across finance data, covering ownership, definitions, lineage, and controls
- Align data definitions across ERP, loan origination and servicing systems, data warehouse, and accounting/FP&A reporting
- Maintain the finance systems roadmap, spanning ERP, expense management, and integrations with loan subledger/servicing platforms, loan origination, and the enterprise data platform
- Advance automation and system integration within the accounting and finance technology stack
- Collaborate with Technology to streamline architecture and remove cross-platform redundancies
- Lead initiatives to shorten the financial close cycle
- Automate data integrations, journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, and reporting workflows
- Improve data readiness for SEC reporting, regulatory filings, and investor/securitization reporting
- Enable reconciled product-level P&Ls across accounting and FP&A
- Support the creation of standardized datasets in Snowflake for multiple use cases
- Enhance FP&A self-service reporting capabilities and dashboards
- Identify and eliminate manual processes across the accounting cycle and expense management
- Implement automation tools such as reconciliation software, workflow engines, and data pipelines
- Standardize finance processes across systems and business lines
- Collaborate with cross-functional process owners to translate business requirements into scalable, cross-platform reporting solutions
- Lead a portfolio of transformation programs with defined priorities, timelines, and ROI tracking
- Coordinate across Finance, Risk, and Technology as the central point of contact
- Oversee third-party vendors, system integrators, and implementation partners
Requirements
- More than 15 years of experience in finance transformation, data, or finance systems leadership within financial services
- Strong knowledge of accounting and close processes, FP&A, financial modeling, and the loan lifecycle from origination through servicing and charge-off
- Hands-on experience with loan origination and servicing systems, Concur, data platforms/warehouses, and ERP/GL
- Proven success integrating finance and lending platforms, standardizing data models, supporting government implementations, and automating finance processes
- Strong systems orientation with the ability to connect disparate platforms
- Effective cross-functional influencer across Finance, Risk, and Technology, with advanced interpersonal skills across diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to analyze relevant information and apply sound judgment
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives concurrently amid competing priorities
- Detail-oriented and action-focused
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
