Job Description

Five Star Industries, Inc. is hiring a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and strengthen budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and interpret financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
  • Oversee corporate accounting activities including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, cost accounting, and cash flow analysis
  • Build and maintain financial projection models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
  • Manage treasury functions such as cash management, risk analysis, investment oversight, and regulatory reporting compliance
  • Supervise daily finance team operations, including leadership for financial report writing, use of data analytics tools, and application of industry-specific financial regulations
  • Perform risk assessments across financial operations and implement risk management strategies to mitigate issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business development efforts, cost control measures, and financial concepts that support profitability

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial management or finance directorship roles with strong background in accounting systems and software
  • Extensive knowledge of IAS, IFRS, GAAP, and industry-specific financial regulations
  • Demonstrated expertise in corporate finance, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting, and regulatory compliance management
  • Skilled in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and building complex financial models using Excel data analysis tools
  • Strong leadership abilities, including experience managing finance teams, with excellent strategic management skills
  • Proficiency in technical accounting practices such as accrual accounting, ASC 606 revenue management, and general ledger reconciliation
  • Exceptional analytical skills to interpret financial reports accurately and communicate insights effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred
