Finance Manager

The Finance Manager position supports an independent Generac channel partner focused on residential and commercial work. The role is responsible for day-to-day accounting and financial operations across customer billing, vendor payments, payroll coordination, reconciliations, and insurance-related billing records.

Role Overview

Manage core finance functions using QuickBooks Online, ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll coordination, and bank and card reconciliations. The role also partners with insurance vendors and payers to support billing, payment processing, discrepancy resolution, and related account records.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting and financial activities using QuickBooks Online.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including account reconciliations and transaction entries.
• Manage accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, payment application, monitoring outstanding balances, and follow-up for past-due accounts.
• Coordinate with insurance vendors and payers regarding billing, payments, discrepancies, claims-related financial matters, and account resolution.
• Manage PNAR processes and maintain accurate records for insurance and customer accounts.
• Coordinate and process payroll, including maintaining employee records, reviewing timesheets, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoices, approvals, payments, and expense tracking.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, customer, vendor, and other financial accounts.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
• Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Experience supporting payroll processing and maintaining employee financial records.
• Experience working with insurance vendors, payers, or insurance-related accounts is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of reconciliations, invoicing, collections, and financial reporting.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
