Project Manager-Finance and Revenue
Job Description
Hybrid (Dalton, GA) project leadership role focused on revenue automation and finance process improvement at a manufacturing company. This position supports end-to-end delivery across finance, sales, operations, IT, and leadership, with strong visibility to executives. Salary range is $100,000 to $140,000 per year, and the role is built for someone with 5+ years of project management experience and a deep connection to finance or revenue initiatives.
What you’ll be working on
You will lead initiatives that modernize how commissions are calculated and processed, support AI-enabled commission processing, and enable AI-supported revenue recognition. The work is cross-functional, requiring you to translate business requirements into clear workflows and integrations, then drive adoption through testing, training, and change management to ensure long-term value.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end projects focused on revenue automation and finance process improvement
- Drive initiatives covering commission calculations, automation, validation, and controls
- Support implementation of AI-enabled tools to improve commission processing and revenue recognition
- Partner with finance and accounting leadership to align solutions with reporting requirements, policy, and compliance expectations
- Collaborate across sales, operations, and IT to gather requirements, define workflows, and support integration
- Create project plans with timelines, milestones, and risk management frameworks for multiple concurrent initiatives
- Identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and scale revenue processes in a manufacturing environment
- Support testing, adoption, training, and change management so solutions deliver sustainable impact
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience with strong exposure to finance, revenue operations, or accounting-related initiatives
- Experience leading projects tied to commissions, incentive compensation, revenue accounting, or order-to-cash
- Strong understanding of financial processes, revenue flows, and operational controls
- Experience in manufacturing environments, especially those with project-based, product-based, or hybrid revenue models
- Familiarity with automation tools, enterprise systems, and AI-enabled business solutions
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working across finance, sales, operations, and technology teams
