Automotive Finance Manager

LaFontaine Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Walled Lake is offering an onsite opportunity for an Automotive Finance Manager to help drive additional facility revenue by connecting customers with the right finance and insurance options. In this role, you will work in a compliance-focused environment while maintaining a professional presence, supported by a robust benefits offering designed to support your health, savings, and time away.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with sources of finance and insurance products, including factory partners and other providers.
• Submit complete, accurate documentation to secure approvals for all available finance transactions.
• Partner with sales management to support a program targeting 100-percent turnover of eligible deals to the Finance & Insurance department.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to pursue a reasonable profit on each transaction.
• Develop forecasts for the finance department with the sales department to work toward desired finance penetration and income goals.
• Verify the accuracy of title, lien information, taxes, and related documents on customer paperwork, and ensure customer details are correct in dealership databases, including email addresses.
• Notarize deal paperwork as required.
• Forward completed deals to the office in a timely manner.
• Obtain insurance licenses if applicable.
• Prepare monthly reports covering finance penetration and products sold.
• Keep sales management updated on relevant rates and products.
• Complete training certifications as directed by management.
• Follow policies and procedures in the Personnel Policy Manual and other corporate policies, plus any other assigned duties.

What You’ll Need

• Minimum two years in automotive sales.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to two years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to work for prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and using a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
