SUTHERLIN KIA offers an in-person Automotive Finance Manager role in Huntington Beach, CA, supporting a dealership environment built on customer-focused service and accurate, compliant financing. This position oversees the full automotive financing workflow, helping drive revenue growth through tailored loan solutions while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and regulatory compliance.
You will lead loan structuring and approvals, partner closely with the sales team, and manage customer relationships throughout the financing experience. With strong expertise in credit analysis, transaction structuring, and dealership systems, you will help ensure each deal is processed smoothly and documented correctly from start to finish.
Compensation: $97,291.60 - $200,000.00 per year (USD 97,291 - 200,000 per yearly)
Responsibilities
- Lead the automotive financing process by structuring loans, negotiating terms, and securing approvals that align with both customer needs and dealership goals
- Manage client relationships through proactive communication and by upselling insurance products, extended warranties, and other financial services to maximize sales opportunities
- Ensure loan processing follows federal and state requirements, including TILA (Truth in Lending Act), title processing requirements, and applicable automotive sales industry standards
- Collaborate with sales teams on smooth transaction structuring, credit analysis, and contract preparation using CDK or equivalent financial software
- Conduct thorough credit evaluations by reviewing financial documents, assessing client creditworthiness, and maintaining compliance with financial regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate documentation for deals, contracts, and customer interactions, using 10-key typing skills and basic math proficiency
- Stay current on industry regulations related to automotive financing and insurance to support ethical practices and legal compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or Automotive Finance Manager in a dealership environment, with a strong understanding of automotive sales industry regulations
- Demonstrated ability in customer relationship management, sales negotiation, and upselling techniques to enhance revenue streams
- In-depth knowledge of financial services, including credit analysis, loan processing, transaction structuring, and compliance with loan regulations such as TILA
- Familiarity with dealership management systems such as CDK or similar platforms
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction, negotiation, and explaining complex financial options clearly
- Strong math skills for basic calculations used in deal structuring and credit assessments
- Experience with automotive sales industry regulations, including familiarity with title processing procedures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
