Automotive Finance Producer

Santa Barbara Honda seeks an onsite Automotive Finance Producer in Santa Maria, CA, with a salary range of USD 50,000 - 175,000 per year, to guide customers through financing, present F&I products, and partner with the sales team to ensure a smooth, successful vehicle delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Explain financing options clearly and transparently, guiding customers with integrity and care throughout the financing journey.
• Structure each deal and coordinate with lenders to identify the best fit for every customer, balancing terms, rates, and approval considerations.
• Present F&I products, including warranties, GAP coverage, and insurance, in a consultative, low-pressure manner that supports informed decision making.
• Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate the delivery process, ensuring a smooth and memorable vehicle handoff experience.

Requirements

• Experience in automotive F&I or a related financial services field.
• CDK software experience is preferred; candidates who can learn CDK or demonstrate related proficiency will be considered.
• A people-first mindset that builds lasting relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners, not just closing transactions.
• Solid knowledge of credit principles, regulatory compliance, and effective auto-deal structuring.
• California DMV Salesperson license or the ability to obtain one.
