Finance Associate

Onsite role in Warrendale, PA with Paragon, supporting OpCo operations by partnering with SBS (Sysco Business Services) to work through exceptions and issues. This Finance Associate position focuses on transactional and administrative Finance and accounting responsibilities, while working closely with cross-functional teams to keep processes running smoothly.

What you can expect

The Finance Associate supports the Region finance team’s monthly close and coordinates with FP accounting to maintain a timely, accurate close. You will also help build and deploy tools and processes across the organization based on business needs, and provide cross-functional support for both local and corporate initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support the Region finance team in the monthly close process
• Collaborate with FP accounting during the monthly close to support timeliness and accuracy
• Develop and deploy tools and processes across the organization as business needs evolve
• Provide cross-functional support with all departments on local and corporate initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor degree preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Root-cause analysis skills to help resolve customer disputes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting or finance ERP/workflow systems (examples include Workday)
• Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally within Sysco and with GPOs
