Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager

The Finance & Insurance Manager role at Outlet Recreation in Detroit Lakes, MN operates onsite to guide customers through financing and protection options, secure approvals, and maintain lender relationships for a seamless, compliant customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in evaluating financing and protection product options in a professional, consultative manner.
• Obtain financing approvals through our lending partners.
• Present F&I offerings including extended service contracts, GAP coverage, tire and wheel protection, and other value-add products.
• Prepare finance paperwork accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Ensure contracts are complete, funded, and processed promptly.
• Collaborate with the sales team, business office, and management to deliver a smooth customer journey.
• Maintain strong relationships with lenders and product providers.
• Stay informed on compliance, lending requirements, licensing, titling, and industry regulations.
• Monitor finance performance, product penetration, and lender relationships, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions and team meetings.

• Sales experience preferred.
• Previous Finance & Insurance experience is a plus, but training is available for the right candidate.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
