Job Description
TargetPath, LLC seeks an experienced Finance Manager/Controller to lead financial planning, reporting, cash flow management, revenue modeling, forecasting, and P&L support for TargetPath and client accounts. The role combines internal leadership with client-facing responsibilities and includes month-end and year-end close activities.
Responsibilities
- Act as the finance lead and controller level resource for TargetPath and designated client engagements
- Collaborate with client teams to oversee financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and performance analytics
- Deliver financial visibility and recommendations to drive revenue growth, improve margins, optimize cash flow, and inform operational decisions
- Lead financial discussions with internal stakeholders, client executive teams, and cross-functional partners
- Assist clients in strengthening financial processes and operating cadences
- Develop reporting packages, dashboards, and executive summaries for client and internal leadership review
- Translate financial results into actionable, practical insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Support financial operations for consumer electronics clients, including inventory, freight and landed costs, channel revenue, customer programs, and retail partner requirements
- Lead financial planning linked to product launches, channel expansion, retail programs, and seasonal demand
- Collaborate with sales, operations, logistics, and client teams to align financial planning with real-world activity
- Enhance visibility into revenue, margins, inventory, and working capital performance
- Provide hands-on accounting support as needed across assigned client accounts
- Work with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to ensure complete, timely, and accurate client accounting activity
- Develop and maintain revenue models, forecasts, and scenario planning tools for TargetPath and client accounts
- Support annual planning, rolling forecasts, and revenue projections
- Collaborate with client and internal teams to forecast revenue, demand, margin, expenses, inventory needs, and cash requirements
- Support demand planning and inventory-related financial analysis for consumer electronics clients
- Prepare, review, and analyze client P&Ls, cash flow reports, budget-to-actuals, and financial performance summaries
- Monitor revenue, COGS, gross margin, operating expenses, contribution margin, and cash position
- Assist with cost-to-serve analysis, pricing analysis, channel economics, and account profitability reviews
- Lead month-end close processes for TargetPath and assigned client accounts
- Ensure accurate and timely close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, inventory entries, prepaid expenses, payroll postings, and other close requirements
- Review financial statements and supporting schedules for accuracy and completeness
- Oversee year-end close processes and support preparation of year-end documentation
- Coordinate with internal accounting staff, external accountants, and client stakeholders as needed
- Assist with 1099, W-9, audits, tax, and compliance documentation as required
- Use and improve accounting, finance, and reporting systems, including QuickBooks and ERP platforms
- Support the development of scalable finance processes, reports, and documentation
- Improve controls around close, revenue recognition, inventory and expense management
- Assist clients in moving from reactive accounting to robust financial planning and management practices
Requirements
- Seven or more years of experience in finance, accounting, controlling, FP&A, or related roles
- Prior exposure to consumer electronics, technology products, retail, wholesale, or channel-based businesses is highly preferred
- Proficiency in cash flow management, revenue modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and P&L analysis
- Experience directing month-end and year-end close cycles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, financial reporting, accruals, reconciliations, inventory accounting, and internal controls
- Experience supporting multiple entities, business units, or client accounts is a plus
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities required
- QuickBooks experience required; NetSuite or other ERP systems experience preferred
- Ability to analyze financial data and convey business implications clearly
- Comfortable engaging with clients and internal leadership teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Aptitude for building processes, improving reporting, and creating structure in ambiguous environments
- Excellent attention to detail, sound judgment, and an ownership mindset
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience preferred

This position is based in our Wilsonville, Oregon offices and is onsite.
