Finance + Systems Manager (Nonprofit)

Underground Ministries is seeking a Finance + Systems Manager in Mount Vernon, WA to strengthen financial and operational systems and support growth with clarity, accountability, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning to support long-term growth and sustainability.
• Manage multiple program budgets for grant reporting
• Oversee fundraising software capabilities and possible platform migration
• Lead reconciliation across financial and donor systems
• Develop financial reports and track key metrics (KPIs)
• Oversee donor data systems and fundraising analytics
• Improve systems integration (for example Funraise and QuickBooks)
• Provide operations support, including payroll coordination and light HR management related to finance

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in nonprofit finance, accounting, or development operations
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial reports; experience in financial report writing and presentation for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with public accounting practices; experience managing compliance requirements related to nonprofit organizations.
• Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills
• Experience managing systems and projects
• Familiarity with donor databases and reporting tools
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Alignment with our mission and faith-based values and practices
• Bachelor's degree

Pay

Hourly rate: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
