The Manager Finance for Core Merch provides financial leadership and analytics within the merchandising function, guiding performance metrics, cost controls, and collaboration with finance leadership to support business goals and shareholder value. Qualifications

• Minimum experience: 5 years
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Conducts strategic analysis to fully understand the business and identifies opportunities to improve processes and organizational efficiency.
• Plans, coordinates, and ensures the achievement of department objectives.
• Assists in preparing the annual budget, monitors monthly expenditures, and ensures adherence to budget targets.
• Monitors monthly performance metrics to confirm goals are achieved.
• Leads financial planning for the function and provides informed recommendations.
• Leads and coordinates teams to execute financial activities efficiently, using metrics to track performance and manage workload.
• Ensures processes and procedures comply with established policies.
• Drives key financial metrics for the function.
• Engages in project management to develop and support strategic partnerships with business partners.
• Participates in cross-functional initiatives addressing business issues and strengthening competitive advantage.
• Facilitates cross-functional communication across Finance, Human Resources, Real Estate, Operations, and Information Systems.

Travel Requirements

Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Physical Requirements

Primarily sedentary with frequent opportunities to move; occasional movement or lifting of light articles may be required.

Working Conditions

Located in a comfortable indoor environment; unfavorable conditions are infrequent and not objectionable.
