Assistant Finance Manager

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have experience in both sales and finance and will focus on maximizing profitability by presenting finance options and related products to customers. They should understand day-to-day dealership operations, including sales activity, compliance, credit policies, and inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Assess customers' credit profiles and financial circumstances to determine financing options.
• Negotiate and close finance arrangements with customers and lending partners.
• Process finance and lease transactions accurately and obtain approvals from banks and financial sources.
• Present vehicle financing and insurance options, and clearly explain aftermarket products and extended warranties.
• Ensure adherence to privacy regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Build and nurture relationships with banks, lenders, and financial institutions.
• Comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations affecting the new and used vehicle and finance departments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial concepts and industry trends to enhance performance.
