The Automotive Finance Manager leads the dealership's financing activities, helping customers secure suitable loan options while ensuring regulatory compliance and dealership profitability.

Responsibilities
- Guide customers through the financing journey, presenting loan options, terms, and conditions in a clear and confident manner.
- Assess credit reports and financial documents to determine loan eligibility and identify suitable financing solutions.
- Negotiate loan terms with lenders and customers to secure favorable agreements that satisfy both sides.
- Promote and upsell add-on products such as extended warranties, insurance packages, and service plans to enhance value.
- Ensure contracts comply with federal regulations, including the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), and dealership policies.
- Process loan applications efficiently using financial software, title processing systems, and other dealership tools.
- Maintain detailed records of credit analyses, contracts, and loan documentation to support audit readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a loan officer or in a similar financial services role within a dealership or automotive environment.
- Strong customer relationship management skills with an emphasis on exceptional service.
- Knowledge of credit analysis, contract negotiation, and loan processing procedures.
- Familiarity with automotive sales processes and dealership operations.
- Proficiency with financial software applications and 10-key data entry.
- Strong math skills for calculating payments, interest rates, and deal structures.
- Ability to interpret legal documents such as TILA disclosures and credit reports effectively.
- Proven negotiation skills to close deals confidently while upholding compliance standards.
