Job Description
New Life Center in Hampton, SC is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Administrator to support financial operations, recording and reporting, and compliance with nonprofit and grant requirements. The role is on-site and involves budgeting, audits, billing support, and collaboration with program staff to ensure accurate financial management.
Overview
The Finance Administrator will maintain accurate financial records, ensure adherence to nonprofit accounting standards, and support the organization’s budgeting, reporting, and grant-funded activities. This position partners with both program and administrative teams to uphold financial integrity and help deliver high‑quality community services.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll support.
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and perform monthly reconciliations.
- Monitor program budgets and trace grant expenditures to ensure funding compliance.
- Prepare financial reports for leadership and board meetings.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process and financial audits.
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and applicable regulations.
- Support billing and reimbursement processes, including Medicaid, commercial insurance, and client payments.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and client-related information.
- Collaborate with program and administrative staff to support operational needs.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of financial or accounting experience.
- Experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
- Experience with OSUS Grants Management System preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Medicaid and insurance billing processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pre-employment drug testing.

Compensation
Salary: USD 35,000 - 40,000 per year.
