Job Description
Wiscasset Ford is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Finance and Insurance Manager to lead the finance desk, support approvals, and ensure accurate, compliant deal processing onsite in Wiscasset.
Responsibilities
- Present finance, lease, and protection product choices to every customer clearly, accurately, and in compliance
- Structure deals and coordinate with lenders, including Ford Credit, banks, and credit unions, to obtain approvals
- Prepare and review sales, finance, and title paperwork to ensure correctness before processing
- Drive timely funding by keeping contracts-in-transit to a minimum
- Work closely with the sales team and sales managers to support a smooth, on-time delivery process
- Maintain current knowledge of federal and state compliance obligations, including TILA, OFAC, Red Flags, privacy requirements, and applicable Maine regulations
Requirements
- 2+ years of F&I or Business Manager experience at a franchised dealership (Ford experience is a plus)
- Strong lender relationships and a working knowledge of deal structure
- Demonstrated, ethical performance in product penetration and per-retail-unit results
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage a high-volume finance desk
- Professional, friendly, and transparent approach with customers
- Comfort with dealership technology including DMS, menu selling, and eContracting (vAuto is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license and a clean background
- Relocation to Wiscasset, ME 04578 before start (required)
