Job Description

City Wide Auto Credit in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking a Finance Manager / Desk Manager to lead the dealership’s automotive financing operations on-site. The role centers on overseeing loan processing, maintaining regulatory compliance, managing customer relationships, and driving upselling of financing and insurance products to enhance dealership profitability. Compensation ranges from USD 7,000 to 15,000 per month.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete automotive loan process from credit analysis through transaction structuring and title processing, ensuring timely and precise deal closures.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships through proactive communication, tailored service, and successful upselling of financing and insurance options.
  • Negotiate loan terms with clients to secure favorable conditions while adhering to all lending regulations, including TILA, and dealership policies.
  • Supervise transaction structuring to maximize profitability while complying with industry standards and applicable laws.
  • Ensure all financial documents, contracts and regulatory filings meet automotive sales regulations and financial laws.
  • Utilize dealership financial software for efficient loan processing, credit analysis, and client data management.
  • Provide ongoing training on financial regulations, credit analysis techniques, and dealership sales strategies to develop the team.
  • Maintain precise transaction records, ensuring accuracy in mathematical calculations and 10-key data entry involved in deal structuring.
  • Partner with sales teams to identify upsell opportunities that boost revenue while delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Monitor ongoing compliance with loan regulations, including TILA disclosures, title processing procedures, and other automotive financing requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in financial services within the automotive or dealership sector, with experience as a loan officer or finance manager.
  • Solid understanding of automotive sales regulations, financial compliance standards, and credit analysis methods.
  • Demonstrated negotiation, client communication, and relationship-management skills that build trust and loyalty.
  • Experience with dealership management software such as CDK or equivalent for transaction processing and record keeping.
  • Strong math skills for deal structuring, credit assessments, and contract detail calculations; 10-key typing proficiency is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive financing products and insurance options such as Finance & Insurance (F&I).
  • Ability to interpret complex loan and title contracts and related legal documents accurately.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to compliance documentation and records.
  • Exceptional customer service paired with a proactive approach to upselling products or services that benefit clients.
