Job Description
Columbia, SC onsite, full-time Finance and Administration Coordinator position at Miwon Specialty Chemical Co.
Responsibilities
- Operate purchase invoice and order systems, process accounts receivable and accounts payable through ERP systems, including petty cash, prepare bank reconciliations, and meet monthly deadlines.
- Prepare written materials and electronic purchasing information, such as lists, control logs, reports, year-end and accruals, and related documentation.
- Process financial data and documents including Fixed Assets, bids, incoming purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and mail.
- Support the Office Manager in preparing monthly, annual, and periodical returns.
- Assist with year-end accounting procedures and annual financial audits.
- Provide Receptionist and Administrative support for Finance, HR, Operations, and SHE (safety, health, and environment).
- Execute clerical tasks incidental to administrative activities.
- Maintain a general accounting and financial records system in accordance with GAAP guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain and restock office supplies as needed.
- Monitor and operate office equipment and materials, including computers, printers, fax machines, copiers, and physical files.
- Support HR duties for new hires, including file management and liaison with benefits management.
- Maintain property insurance coverage.
Requirements
- Associate degree preferred; a business or accounting degree is not required with sufficient experience.
- Minimum of three years of manufacturing experience using accounting and purchasing systems.
- Familiarity with generally accepted accounting procedures.
- Experience with accounting software programs, including ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong abilities in spreadsheet creation and management.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail; organized with careful adherence to procedures.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English.
- Regular attendance is expected.

Pay
- USD 22.00 - 26.00 per hour
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- This position primarily works in a professional office environment with regular use of computers, phones, and other standard office equipment.
- The role requires periodic access to the manufacturing plant, with adherence to all safety protocols and required PPE.
- Physical demands include prolonged sitting, frequent walking and standing, and navigating multiple flights of stairs within the plant and surrounding facility.
