Automotive Finance Director

As the Automotive Finance Director at Lockwood Motors in Marshall, MN, the role focuses on structuring and securing financing for retail vehicle transactions, presenting finance and insurance options, and managing lender relationships to maximize profitability while maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and finalize financing solutions for retail automotive transactions and secure approvals
• Present finance and insurance products to customers and guide decision making
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and lender regulations
• Collaborate with sales managers and lenders to maximize approvals and profitability
• Cultivate strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and financial institutions
• Review contracts and paperwork for accuracy and completeness
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the delivery process
• Monitor CITs and funding processes to ensure timely completion

Requirements

• Experience as an automotive finance manager is required
• Strong knowledge of dealership finance operations and lender programs
• Proven track record of product sales and profitability
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as needed
• Strong organizational and compliance capabilities
• DMS experience; familiarity with Auto/Mate or Tekion is advantageous
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
