Job Description
Based in Saint Marys, PA (onsite), this automotive finance management role at Spitzer Autoworld coordinates financing and insurance programs for customers and collaborates with lenders to deliver financial services, focusing on achieving goals while ensuring regulatory compliance and building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Key duties include a range of financing and customer-service activities designed to meet dealership objectives.
- Offers financing options and protection products to customers
- Drives attainment of the department’s financial services goals and gross production targets
- Reviews customer credit applications
- Presents extended service contracts and other owner protection programs
- Evaluates the profitability of financing arrangements for the dealership
- Utilizes the menu selling process to present options
- Maintains customer satisfaction scores at or above company standards
- Ensures compliance with all laws and regulatory obligations related to financial services and products, including Red Flag standards
- Complies with safeguard and transaction compliance requirements
- Ensures organizational activities comply with guidelines and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Oversees the completion and submission of financing documents
- Acts as liaison between customers and lending institutions
- Ensures adherence to the company’s F&I reporting requirements
- Attendance at weekly manager meetings
- Collaborates with staff and customers to strengthen relationships and bridge disconnects in the sales process
- Builds rapport with customers to generate referrals and expand the network for finance and product options
- Meets monthly objectives
- Works with service advisors to address warranty and service contract inquiries
- Trains and informs the sales team about finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service offerings
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum two years of dealership finance experience
- Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to deliver a proper menu presentation
- Provide desk support as needed and collaborate with the management team
- Experience dealing with local and national bankers and manufacturer representatives
- Knowledge of tag and title laws and DMV processes
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Submit to and pass MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States
