Responsibilities

  • Structure auto loan and lease options that align customer needs with dealership goals to drive approvals and close deals.
  • Perform comprehensive credit analyses, review financial documents, and determine loan eligibility in accordance with TILA and applicable regulations.
  • Build and nurture positive client relationships through effective communication and by upselling insurance products, extended warranties, and other financial services.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support automotive sales by providing timely financing options and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Ensure loan processing activities comply with dealership policies and all federal and state regulations, including title processing and transaction structuring.
  • Utilize industry software such as CDK or similar platforms for accurate deal documentation, contract creation, and transaction management.
  • Maintain thorough records of all transactions, including credit applications, contracts, and compliance documentation, in line with regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive finance management or a similar role within a dealership environment.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive sales regulations, financial services, and compliance requirements such as TILA.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on client communication and satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability in negotiation, upselling, and deal structuring to optimize sales outcomes.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Reylods&Reynolds), credit analysis tools, and basic math skills including 10-key typing for data entry accuracy.
  • Loan officer experience or background in financial services is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with title processing, loan processing procedures, contracts management, and automotive financing regulations.
