Job Description

BolyːWelch is a fast-growing, global healthcare technology company seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead core finance functions across a multi-entity organization. This hybrid role is based in Portland, OR and supports growth and investment decisions through planning, forecasting, reporting, and global accounting operations.

In this position, you will partner closely with founders and the Board, translating financial analysis into actionable insights and helping strengthen the organization’s financial infrastructure as the business scales internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across a multi-entity global operation.
  • Build long-term financial models and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership based on actionable insights that support growth, investment decisions, and operational excellence.
  • Evaluate strategic initiatives, optimize cash flow, and help ensure the organization is positioned for sustainable success.
  • Oversee global accounting operations, including financial reporting, treasury management, financing activities, and compliance.
  • Guide month-end close processes, strengthen financial systems and controls, support debt and equity transactions, and act as a primary financial resource for investors, lenders, and the Board.
  • Partner with external advisors to manage regulatory compliance, mitigate risk, and build the financial infrastructure required to scale an international business.
  • After a short on-site training period, work on a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
  • 5+ years of experience overseeing core accounting and financial management functions.
  • Experience with QuickBooks (QB) or similar accounting software preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: USD 130,000 - 170,000 per year + stock
