Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain credit rating criteria and determine credit limits
- Oversee the credit approval and review process to ensure compliance with company policy
- Manage and maintain accurate customer credit files and documentation
- Conduct periodic reviews and updates of corporate credit policies and procedures
- Analyze delinquent accounts and collaborate with branch managers to implement effective collection strategies
- Support negotiations of payment arrangements to minimize risk and optimize cash flow
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on credit risk, collections performance, and outstanding receivables
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Credit Manager or in a similar credit and risk management role
- Strong knowledge of credit regulations, compliance standards, and relevant financial laws
- Demonstrated experience conducting credit evaluations and risk assessments
- Proficiency in credit management systems, databases, and financial software applications
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational, leadership, and team management abilities
- Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field
