Finance and Insurance Manager (F&I)

Based onsite in Wayland, MI, the Finance and Insurance Manager oversees the F&I function at GENERAL RV CENTER, coordinating loan origination oversight and presenting financial products while collaborating with sales and lending partners to move deals through the purchase process and ensure compliant financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end loan origination and approval workflow for customers.
• Recommend and present financial products including service contracts, protection plans, GAP coverage, credit insurance, and other options designed to protect customers and their investment.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to advance deals efficiently through the purchase process.
• Generate and maintain precise monthly performance reports.
• Close financial transactions promptly while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and lending partners.
• Identify and present financing options tailored to each customer’s situation.
• Prepare all required federal and state documentation for financial transactions and coordinate with the corporate finance team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the RV, automotive, or powersports sectors is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to overcome sales objections.
• Experience with DealerTrack and AppOne is preferred.
• Highly detail-oriented and well organized.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
