Project Financial Analyst, Engagement Financial Advisor

This onsite role in Dallas, TX supports Deloitte's Engagement Financial Advisor team as a Project Financial Analyst. The position oversees project budgets, monitors financial performance, forecasts revenue and expenses, and supports financial operations across the full project lifecycle in a fast paced consulting environment. The salary range is USD 66,200 to 121,800 per year.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to manage budgets, monitor project financials, forecast revenue and expenses, and ensure projects stay financially on track
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support engagement leadership decision making
• Monitor project spending and assist with billing and collections
• Provide financial updates, insights, and recommendations to internal stakeholders
• Support day-to-day project operations and financial management across the project lifecycle
• Identify financial risks, process issues, and opportunities for improvement
• Apply established project management and financial processes to support engagement quality and compliance
• Contribute to team initiatives, knowledge sharing, and process improvement efforts
• Maintain regular contact with your manager, career advisor, and onboarding advisor to support your professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or a business degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting and finance principles
• Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on work and clients
• Ability to work in your local office at least one day per week
• Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to one of the select locations available for this role
