Job Description

Amazon's Customer Service FP&A team in Seattle is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to collaborate with Finance leaders on Customer Service initiatives. The role centers on the monthly close, forecasting, and planning, while building scalable processes and robust financial models that reveal the drivers behind performance. This onsite position offers a salary range of USD 95,400 to 163,200 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the monthly close, forecast cycles, and planning deliverables, including variance analyses, financial modeling, and ad hoc deep dives to explain business drivers
  • Partner with business and operations leaders to translate operational metrics into the financial narrative, delivering actionable insights and recommendations
  • Influence senior leadership decisions through clear written narratives, structured analyses, and by leading financial review meetings
  • Strengthen controls and governance by identifying gaps in spending policy, headcount classification, or cost allocation, and work with stakeholders to implement scalable fixes
  • Drive process improvements and automation across reporting, reconciliation, and data pipelines, collaborating with data and technology teams to ensure timely, accurate inputs
  • Build scalable tools and solutions that increase throughput for your team and across stakeholder groups

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
  • At least five years of leading cross‑functional initiatives that influence financial performance and strategy
  • More than five years analyzing financial data to identify patterns that inform business strategy
