Job Description

Bank of America in Pittsburgh, PA, onsite, seeks a Financial Solutions Advisor to deliver comprehensive financial guidance and customized solutions to clients, with potential mortgage loan origination.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to plan short and long term financial goals and build a plan using brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and annuities, alongside banking and money managed solutions
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with each client’s goals and needs
  • Triage client requests and refer to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
  • Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities
  • Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or existing financial center clientele

Requirements

  • Currently holds Series 7 and 66 licenses; if you hold 63 or 65 in place of 66, an offer may be extended with the condition that the missing series is passed within 60 days
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment with goals met or exceeded
  • Demonstrated ability to set and accomplish goals and to build and nurture strong relationships
  • Collaborative, able to work effectively with others to complete tasks
  • Clear, confident communication with comfort engaging all clients
  • Ability to manage goals, navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong desire to learn, adapt to new information, and seek client-centered solutions
  • Efficient time management and capacity planning
  • Thorough in incorporating regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies

Weekly Schedule

  • Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a demanding environment
  • Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC)
  • Insurance licenses
