Job Description

Bank of America is seeking a Financial Solutions Advisor to join its Livingston, New Jersey on-site team. In this role, you will deliver tailored financial guidance and create personalized plans that blend brokerage products with banking and managed-money solutions. The position involves triaging client inquiries, coordinating with internal specialists, and coaching referral partners to ensure the right solutions align with client needs and goals.

Salary

USD 70,000 - 80,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to define short- and long-term financial goals and develop a plan that integrates brokerage offerings such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and annuities with banking and managed-money solutions.
  • Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with the client’s goals and needs.
  • Triages client requests and routes them to the appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
  • Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities.
  • Identifies potential new clients through referrals or existing financial center clientele and engages them.
  • Provides coaching and feedback to referral partners using knowledge of client needs and the services recommended.

Requirements

  • Licensing: Current Series 7 and 66 licenses are required; if you hold 63 or 65 in lieu of 66, an offer may be extended with the condition that you pass the missing series within 60 days.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the investments industry, including training and in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Education: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
  • Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and communication skills; comfortable engaging all clients.
  • Sets and accomplishes goals, navigates complexity, prioritizes tasks, and performs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn, adapts to new information, and seeks client-centered solutions.
  • Efficient time management and capacity planning.
  • Maintains thorough regulatory due diligence in daily activities and long-term client strategies.
