Job Description

Bank of America is offering an entry-level path for aspiring financial professionals in Rolling Hills Estates, California. This onsite role starts with comprehensive training to earn the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses, while developing client advisory skills and progressing within a financial center, all in alignment with SAFE Act registration requirements. The position carries a pay range of $28 to $33 per hour, reflecting the focus on foundational training and practical client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Complete dedicated coursework to obtain SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses.
  • Develop and manage client relationships, evaluate complex financial situations, and provide advisory guidance with a client-centered approach.
  • Begin in a financial center, delivering Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions while upholding standards of client care.
  • Offer end-to-end, comprehensive financial guidance, present client reviews with confidence, and recommend strategies to help clients reach their goals and priorities.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment teams; connect clients to Bank of America and Merrill solutions to address a broad range of financial needs.
  • Engage with banking customers, small business owners, and higher-net-worth clients from a financial center, leveraging relationships with about half of U.S. households to grow the business over time.

Requirements

  • Aptitude for obtaining the required industry licenses.
  • Self-discipline in managing time and workload.
  • Experience in cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions.
  • Proven ability to build strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on prioritizing the client’s interests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology or applications.

Desired Qualifications

  • Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
