Job Description
The Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor role supports high-net-worth clients within a Merrill branch, delivering tailored financial guidance, fostering client relationships, and growing a sustainable book of business through the Advisor Development Program.

Salary
USD 36 - 41 per hour
Responsibilities
- Develops the ability to provide customized guidance to clients through reviews and presentations, collaborating with management to assess financial goals and propose investment advisory strategies.
- Gains understanding of client solutions suited to their needs, including core Banking and Investment and Life Priority solutions.
- Shadows Financial Advisor teams to expand their network by sharing relevant market developments and discussing new products to support portfolio growth.
- Utilizes available resources and technology to enhance the client experience and deliver accurate, service-oriented outcomes.
- Participates in ongoing training focused on building a book of business to meet and exceed pre-defined financial targets and progress within the advisor track.
- Develops relationships with internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
- Proactively manages risk across all aspects of business, product, and service transactions using available tools.
Requirements
- Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE).
- 4+ years of progressive professional and/or military experience.
- 2+ years of experience in the investments industry.
- Ability to obtain Series 7 and 66 licenses within the program timeline.
- Self-starter who effectively manages time and capacity.
- Sets and accomplishes goals, demonstrating a track record of achieving objectives.
- Builds and nurtures strong relationships.
- Collaborates effectively with others to get things done.
- Communicates effectively and confidently, comfortable engaging all clients.

- Is thorough and thoughtful in incorporating regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long-term client strategies.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
