Job Description
Bank of America is hiring a Sr Credit Underwriter II for Global Leasing and Equipment Finance in Chicago, IL onsite.
Responsibilities
- Assess client creditworthiness and render decisions on the approval of credit facilities.
- Collaborate with Credit Officers, Relationship Management, and Risk teams to design and deliver credit solutions.
- Monitor client operating performance and financial health, proactively flagging issues and opportunities.
- Provide financial modeling, loan structuring, and industry and economic analyses to support loan decisions.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial credit experience.
- Equipment finance experience is required.
- Experience analyzing and structuring complex transactions.
- Strong credit and risk analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency in presenting, structuring, and analyzing financial statements.
- Proven ability to analyze, interpret, and negotiate third-party documentation.
- Proven ability to identify trends and emerging risks in underwriting and client selection.
