Business Development Finance Analyst - Senior Associate

Senior Associate, Business Development Finance Analyst on the Chase Auto PLCF team, focused on building financial models, forecasting profitability, evaluating new business opportunities, and supporting deal workflows and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Create Excel based models to assess potential revenue growth opportunities and deliver strategic insights across the business development lifecycle.
• Apply advanced analysis to income statements to identify drivers, performance indicators, and metrics that inform management decisions.
• Lead the opportunity sizing process for new business initiatives, ensuring accuracy to support optimal organizational decisions.
• Perform financial analyses and help build robust business cases for new initiatives, including sales and origination projections, revenue, expenses, and credit loss considerations.
• Analyze large historical data sets to uncover trends and develop forecasts that strengthen business case development.
• Develop a deep understanding of the loan and lease P&L to drive optimized financials for the business case.
• Facilitate collaboration and clear communication among key partnership stakeholders including Pricing, Business, and Credit teams.
• Develop and present cross functional business case analyses with Finance, Business Development Sales, and Risk partners.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting
• 2+ years of financial analysis or accounting experience
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience data mining, gathering, and manipulation of data sets
• Inquisitive, enthusiastic, and diligent with the ability to challenge peers constructively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
• Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management
• Proven track record delivering on special projects with limited lead time or information
• Highly motivated and able to think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines
• Team player who earns trust as a partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A teams
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze large data sets and present concise conclusions
