Responsibilities
- Lead annual and ongoing financial planning for product areas, delivering business rationales and decisions tied to month-end results, forecasting, and analysis of product performance, demand, budgeting, billing, trends, and exceptions
- Produce reporting, analytics, and strategic insights across location strategy, span of control, and corresponding analytics initiatives
- Develop financial business cases to support new initiatives
- Monitor key metrics, drive data quality efforts within the product area, and help define future needs
- Develop and track performance metrics, prepare presentations, and provide financial analysis to senior management
- Perform variance analysis to identify key drivers and present commentary on deviations from forecasts and budgets
- Collaborate on designing new reports and dashboards to efficiently communicate financial results to leadership
- Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where feasible
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Services and/or accounting/controller roles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong data mining and data manipulation capabilities
- Curious, energetic, and diligent, with the ability to challenge peers constructively
- Ability to generate ad hoc reporting for senior management
- Proven track record delivering on special projects with limited lead time or information
- Team player who earns trust as a partner to the Business, Finance, and FP&A teams
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and present concise conclusions
