Job Description

JPMorgan Chase Asset Management in Columbus, onsite, offers a role that centers on rigorous financial reporting, planning and forecasting, and analysis to support Americas sales channels and strengthen financial performance. Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of results and drivers for senior management, and assemble materials for business reviews and presentations.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify key financial drivers and deliver commentary on differences versus forecasts or budgets.
  • Develop monthly cash flow forecasts and assist with the annual flows budget process.
  • Review and analyze the results of the activity-based costing model that measures profitability by sales channel and product.
  • Coordinate the production of sales metric scorecards to track individual performance against targets.
  • Participate in projects aimed at driving global consistency, improving controls, streamlining processes, and introducing automation where feasible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related area
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with data mining and manipulation of large data sets
  • Curious, enthusiastic, diligent, and capable of constructively challenging peers
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues
  • Proven ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management and to execute on special projects with limited lead time or information
  • Highly motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Team player who earns trust as a partner to the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to analyze large data sets and present concise conclusions
