Financial Analysis - Senior Associate - Partner Card Finance

Based onsite in Wilmington, Delaware, the Senior Associate Finance role sits within JPMorganChase's Partner Finance team supporting Amazon General Management. The position emphasizes financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, reporting, and process improvements to drive greater financial clarity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual and ongoing financial planning for product areas, delivering business rationale and decisions related to month-end results and forecasts; conduct reviews and analyses of product financial performance, demand planning, budgeting, invoicing, trends, and exception reports.
• Develop efficiency-focused reporting and analytics, including location strategy, span of control, and related reporting needs.
• Craft financial business cases to support strategic initiatives.
• Track and monitor key metrics, advance data quality initiatives across the product area, and help define future requirements for the product area.
• Develop and monitor performance indicators, prepare presentations, and provide financial analysis across a range of topics for senior management.
• Conduct variance analyses to identify key drivers of results and present explanations to senior managers, detailing deviations from prior forecasts or budgets.
• Assist in designing new reports and dashboards to streamline delivery of financial results to senior management.
• Strengthen controls and streamline processes, incorporating automation where feasible.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a technically oriented field.
• A minimum of four years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Planning & Analysis, Marketing Analytics, or Business Management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong familiarity with Essbase.
• Experience in data mining and manipulation of large data sets.
• Curious, proactive, and diligent, with the ability to challenge peers constructively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
• Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management.
• Proven track record delivering special projects under tight timelines or with limited information.
• Collaborative team player capable of building relationships and serving as a trusted partner for the business, internal and external stakeholders, Finance, and cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated starter with strong time management and prioritization skills, thriving under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to analyze large data sets and present concise conclusions.
