Job Description

Analyst in JPMorgan Chase's Infrastructure Finance and Advisory team focusing on originating, structuring, and executing infrastructure financing and advisory transactions worldwide, with emphasis on the Americas and multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior bankers in originating, structuring, and executing infrastructure financing and advisory transactions across a range of products, including loans, bonds, and structured instruments.
  • Assist in negotiating and preparing transaction documentation.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and perform project finance analyses for infrastructure ventures across sectors.
  • Create financing proposals, investor decks, road show materials, rating agency presentations, pitch books, and other collateral.
  • Participate in transaction due diligence with external advisors.
  • Coordinate with J.P. Morgan credit risk and legal teams to review deals within credit risk and approval workflows.
  • Support senior bankers in addressing inquiries from investors and rating agencies.
  • Conduct market and company research to identify new opportunities.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking or private equity, ideally with exposure to infrastructure or project finance.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Strong quantitative and financial analysis capabilities.
  • Experience building project finance models in Excel.
  • Experience developing marketing materials and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables for long-term transactions alongside a busy daily workload.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to anticipate the needs of the deal team.
  • Willingness to work hard and collaborate across banking, capital markets, credit, product groups, and control functions.
