1000Bulbs.com is hiring a Senior Finance Analyst to support Finance & Accounting and report to the CFO. In this onsite role in Garland, TX, you will help deliver reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis that informs day-to-day management decisions in a high-volume internet-based retail environment.
This position is built around producing accurate, timely insights from structured financial data and partnering across departments to translate results into clear variance explanations, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Role and reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, management reports, and financial statements.
- Support financial analysis for business decision-making, business planning, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide quarterly actual vs. budget analysis by department as part of periodic performance reviews.
Budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, financial models, and variance analyses.
- Compare actual results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, and identify and explain significant variances.
- Support the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting.
- Perform financial analysis across key metrics including revenue, expenses, margins, operating costs, cash flow, working capital, and other financial indicators.
NetSuite and data-driven reporting
- Use NetSuite to research transactions, analyze data, create reports, and maintain saved searches and dashboards.
- Apply advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and financial modeling) to analyze performance and support forecasting.
Collaboration, close support, and continuous improvement
- Partner with Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, Merchandising, and other departments to gather and analyze financial and operational information.
- Support month-end close, reconciliations, and ad hoc financial projects as needed.
- Identify trends, opportunities, risks, and process improvements while maintaining accurate, well-documented analyses.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, or a related finance role.
- Hands-on NetSuite experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working in an e-commerce, retail, or commercial high-volume transaction environment.
- Experience creating NetSuite saved searches, dashboards, and customized reports.
- Experience with financial modeling and long-term forecasting.
- Experience analyzing gross margin, inventory, sales, and operating expenses.
Compensation: USD 90,000 per year.
